John White - Commitments to Our City


Welcome

My name is John White and I will be your next Mayor. I have knocked on doors and met with residents throughout the City of Tonawanda. I have listened to your feedback and your concerns. I heard what matters most to you in our community and your passions have become my passions.  

I wanted to share a few of my commitments to you: 

I commit to being your full-time Mayor. My office will be readily accessible and responsive to you. 


I commit to working with, not AGAINST the Common Council. 


I commit to serving our residents with respect and dignity. 


I commit to creating a Mayor's Literacy Program to encourage our City's youth to read throughout the summer. Books will be provided or books can be checked out through the library on Main Street. Each participant will earn a Mayor's "Super Reader!" Diploma and be entered for a chance to win some fun prizes. 


I commit to listening to learn from our department heads and working together to resolve issues, promote progress, and providing exceptional service to our residents.

 
I commit to working with the School District. I will meet regularly with our Superintendent and school leaders to promote our district and provide additional shared services where we can. 


I commit to working with business owners to promote their business and our community. 


I commit to working with each of you for the betterment of our City of Tonawanda.
